July 19th 2003, the club had its first golf day and members of the club
played for the
John Warren Memorial Cup, sponsored by
Birkin Builders.
The tournament was held at the Lexden Wood Golf Club and all the players enjoyed the hot weather
even if their game was luke warm!
The inaugural winner of the John Warren Memorial Cup Cup was Terry Bethell.
Runner up was Darren Bloomfield and 3rd place went to Mick Bell.
The winner of the nearest the pin competition, on the par 3 8th hole, was Mick Hersent and the prize for the
shortest drive went to Simon Ashurst.
